(North East, MD) On Halloween, October 31st, troopers from the Maryland State Police North East Barrack will be conducting a “Coats for Candy” winter outerwear clothing drive.

The Barrack will be accepting donations of clean, new or like-new coats and jackets, winter hats and beanies, gloves, and scarves. By donating you would be supporting Cecil County residents who are in need during the cold winter months. Any outerwear donations would help!

Since it will be Halloween, kids who participate can trick-or-treat at the Barrack in exchange for a donated coat or other winter outerwear. Donations can be dropped off at the Maryland State Police North East Barrack, located at 2433 W. Pulaski Highway, in North East. Donations will be accepted all day.
