Cedar Vase

I know my picture taking skills are average but my imagination is always in full bloom. I made this cedar vase yesterday and stuck some flowers in it from the Azalea bush. I really like making things out of the never ending supplies from mother nature, who happens to be my hero!

Where did you get a piece of cedar big enough to put on the lathe?

I didn't use a lathe. I used a drill with a spade bit. It was made from a branch off a cedar tree. The vase is only four inches tall. It's a mini vase.
