Celebrity plastic surg. before & after

Why do they do that? Do they really think they look better?
While celebrities have been open about their surgery (Joan Rivers, Pam Anderson, Jennifer Grey), makes me wonder how many of the photo's are just the normal ageing process?
To me Halle Berry did not look like she had anything done, just looked a little older. People's faces and bodies do change over time.
Even if Halle Berry lets say did have something done, the whole point of plastic surgery is to make it look as suttle as possible (unless you are going from an A cup to a DD, ain't no hiding that, but even with boob jobs, a good doctor is "suppose" to still help the client pick a boob size that fits their body type).
