Ok so Motorola decided to not make deals with the major carriers for their newest phone that was to be released in September. They planned to just have consumers buy the phone from them for $400, and have the phone already setup to work with any of the "major" carriers.
Many people are switching to prepaid services due to the discounts they can get. What says the people of SoMD? Prepaid vs. Credit-Based Account? Is either better in terms of the reception? I see Sprint offering me a NEW phone upgrade if I pay $15 a month to "lease" it (and sign another contract probably).
I'm thinking I should buy my own phone outright and get one of those prepaid plans? Instead of paying $155 a month for 2 smartphones, I could be paying $100 a month or less for them elsewhere.
