Because they started 0-6. Since they came back from their bye week (and Vince Young returned), they are 7-1, with that one loss being to Indy two weeks ago. They gave Indy a better game they are giving SD tonight.

42-17 Chargers. Titans officially eliminated from playoffs with 8 losses within the AFC; Chargers secure #2 seed throughout.
Hard to believe there are so many teams in the AFC with 7 losses that are still alive for a wildcard spot.

They're out to get us
pretty crazy. The Titans have looked like a dead team walking since the 3rd quarter of that game against the Dolphins last week. They were incredibly lucky to pull off that win. So now they're eliminated, the Dolphins and Texans play an elimination game Sunday, while the Jets, Jags, and Steelers play difficult teams and might be eliminated too. It'll definitely be an interesting finish, especially if the Broncos continue to suck.
