Southwest ending its open seating policy
Southwest Airlines is getting rid of its open seating model for the first time in its history as it tries to boost profits. It did not specify when the changes would take effect.

We've been paying for the 1-15 upgrade as long as they have offered it...but you're still sitting in the 4th 5th row by the time all of the preboarding is done

...and Aunt Beulah with her walker saved 2 rows for her family that was back in the D line. And, of course, that walker wasn't needed after arrival.

We just went to Destin and were A2 and A3 for both trips and it was about the same experience..

Scouting retirement spots.....Ocean was closed, but Crab Island was rocking.
