Non-competitive basketball program designed to develop skills and promote fun while participating in loosely organized games. One hour practice or game held each Saturday between 9:00am-5:00pm. Practices start mid-December; games start mid-January. Players and coaches receive team shirt, it is your responsibility to select correct size. Limited registration.

The Department of Community Services' community-based recreational youth basketball and soccer leagues are, first and foremost, intended to provide a positive social experience for young boys and girls with emphasis placed on good sportsmanship, fun, and exercise. Children are placed on teams based on area, age, height, and experience. Coaches are NYSCA certified. Players and coaches receive a team shirt. Visit your Community Center for size samples. It is your responsibility to select the correct shirt size. Leagues may be combined in basketball and soccer if not enough participation.
