Charles County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Assistance In Locating Fugitive

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office and Charles County Crime Solvers are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a fugitive. John William Alvardo, 30, of Mechanicsville is wanted for failing to appear in District Court for the original charge of being a fugitive from justice in Texas. He is also wanted by the Circuit Court for a child support violation.

Anyone with information about Alvardo’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office Warrant/Fugitive Unit at 301-932-3065 during business hours or 301-932-2222 after-hours. Information may also be provided to Charles County Crime Solvers by calling 1-866-411-TIPS. Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to Alvardo’s arrest. All callers remain anonymous.
