Only what "Disney4845" has said on these forums: see his post made at 5/14/13 at Life in Southern Maryland forum. He said an Auto Parts Store is coming.

If you read his posts, he seems to be on top of things and is very knowledgeable. Haven't heard of anyone discrediting him....

It should not make a difference.
Someone is putting their hard earned money into opening a store, (Think jobs, taxes, rents, etc.)

Good for them.

It could of been a liquor store or nail salon.

Yes, it is good for them to start a business...it is not my intention to take that away from them! My focus is on what CH needs...why can't we get businesses that we actually need?

You are right about them being a liquor store or nail salon. I would be disgusted if that happened. (I am not disgusted if it turns out to be an auto parts store...and probably I would even go there!)

It just would be nice if a "new" business would come--something we don't already have!

I wish it could make a difference...I wish any poll could in these forums...I just wonder what the rest of CH is thinking...
as far as my poll goes, it does not seem to be doing well at all...I guess that says something in and of itself.

CH does not need another parts store. Drive a little bit more south and there's a NAPA and Federated Auto Parts stores. I rarely see either of them busy as Autozone. I don't want CH or Mechanicsville to get like Waldorf.

When I first moved here 17 years ago, my hubby and I had tons of ideas for businesses...now, it is nice to see CH growing! Ideas are cheap I know.

We could never open a business, even if we had the money. (We could never be astronauts either- if you get my drift).

But if we could, we would open a diner (24 hours). It would be nice to eat at a restaurant that had a hundred of things on the menu!
(Especially with my favorite meal- a bagel with lox, cream cheese, lettuce and tomato! Could eat one now!!!)
