I have a Kodak EasyShare Z740 (Cheap, I know) and have never had a problem with it until now. I have had it for about 3 years and the night before daughters first school christmas program I charged it all night. Then on the day of the program I go to take pictures and it is flashing "LowBattery". Ever since then it won't keep a charge not even with regular batteries. It drains batteries within 5-10 minutes of being on...
I was using the kodak rechargeable battery and that dies out then I put regular AA batteries in and even with regular AA batteries they only last about 5 minutes before it flashes low bat again and then auto shuts down..

What the heck is going on? Is it a easy fix? If so how?

No, I don't have a warranty so I can't send it back...

Any Help? TIA

Thanks for that,,, but it didn't help me any.
Glad to know it is not only me that it's happen to.
I didn't see on that formum anywhere how to resolve the issue
only to make sure the batteries aren't old.
My AA batteries are brand new and drain within 10 minutes. My rechargeable only
last 5 minutes.
