I was wondering if anyone had a cheap scanner for sale to use in saint marys I had one of the 200 dollar radio shack ones but got rid of it and dont want to spend the cash to buy another.

Depending on some circumstances, it can be minutes off from RT.

There is about a ~30 second delay between online audio feeds of scanners and the real deal. This is because of the encoding that needs to be done before a listener online hears the audio. A better computer serving up the online feed will encode faster (as well as using lower-quality encoding settings).

But even then, a real scanner will triumph in the end.
