Check your home owners policy deductible

Just wanted to put this out there. Since every weather system is named right now and since a whole lot of insurance policies increase your deductible if the damage is caused by a named storm it makes little sense to me to have a low deductible since your chances of actually being able to make a claim have gone way down because of this BS about naming every dark cloud to come across the sky.

I think that should be the case. It's not the government making the determination in this case, rather the jerkwads over at TWC.

I hope that is true, a look at my policy does not say who the storm is named by though.
