Has anyone done any business with Chesapeake Auto Body? Were you happy with the work that was done? We have to have a '97 Dodge Ram repainted. Looking forward to hearing the good and the bad.

I went to them with my car after I should've hit a deer but instead plowed a guard rail. On the outside you couldn't tell that the fenders and hood had folded to the firewall but open the hood and you could see seams where the inner fender wells had been pieced back to gether.

Havae you considered Maaco? (sp?) Also, I believe there is a body shop next to the car wash on 235.

My advice; don't do like I did and go to the first place that somebody recommends. I know whereof I speak.

Not that C.A.B. didn't make "my toy" look like new on the outside (which is what counts to a lot of folks); just do more thorough research than I did. JMO

I had about 10 people recomend them and I was not very happy at all. They "forgot" to replace my windshield, I was still missing 2 hubcaps and just about every hail ding was still there. I swear it looked like they just painted over the nicks with clear nail pollish. The man I dealt with claimed they repainted the whole vehicle but the person who washed it (which it was still dirty) must have hit it with the metal nozzle on the hose. They even gave me a quote to fix the new damage (which I totally felt I should not have been responsible for). Needless to say I made them change the windshield and replace the hubcaps they were paid to do and I kept my dings :(
