It didn't open, did it? Is the project dead? Or will it eventually open?

The sign out front says "Office space for rent" so I assume the building isn't going to be a school after all.

At the original location on GM Road.

It has been open since the beginning of the year. My oldest is there and she loves it. Her teacher has a couple of really big assignments for the combined 1st and 2nd grade class.

:yay: It just looks so empty. I'm surprised it's open.

The school has a total of 160 students in grades K-5.

Another reason it looks empty is due to the kids not having an outside playground. It really doesn't seem to bother any of them though.

Whoops. I got them confused with the Bay Charter school that's trying to open in Calvert.

I think the part of the building you see when driving by will be the office spaces. If you drive up in the parking lot and around to the back that is the part where the school is.

 JWWB????

Right now, the only part of the building being used (if looking from GM road) is the right portion. The other side is vacant.

How much does it cost a month ?

Nothing. The school does accept donations for the upcoming year though. It is a way to off set all of the fundraisers they must do to help pay to keep the school open. They have a bit to pay after they get the funding from the state. So far, things have been going very well with raising the money.
