Who lives in CRE and thinks that there HOA fees providces them a quality of life no better than any resident of Calvert County?

Who thinks the money they pay CRE is is foolishly wasted ( $250,000 for Security????)

Maybee if enough people care we can change IT

Don't you just hate when you sign a contract, then when things aren't going the way you think they should, you try to get people to rise up? But then you find out that those people also signed contracts? And then you finally read your contract and find out that you are getting exactly what you signed up for?

I hate when that happens!

How many people live in CRE and DON'T pay their HOA fees??
:yeahthat:

I live in the ranch club, and as long as my road is pothole free and the roads are clear when I head out in the morning after a snow storm. I will not complain. Our fees our much lower than many others in the tri-county area. Be happy with what you have or move to Arkansas...

The MD Court case site has 247 listings for POACRE just for last year. If people paid their fees and POACRE didn't have to pay lawyers to go after people, maybe we wouldn't have as many problems as we do?

Hmmm. If each case only cost POACRE $200 in legal/admin costs to pursue, there's $50,0000 last year alone!

I use to live in the CRE.
We went to court, I lost.
I don't live there anymore.

We complained about the potholes on our road. Took them about a month or so to respond but they did and did a fairly decent job. I'm still going to go rake the entrance where it's a lil bumpy.

Come Play at BigWoodys
Our Neighbor called about the rut across our road due to our house being built and they came out the other day and fixed the rut. So far I have been very happy. I did hear that they have money to apparently repair the old boat ramp on the bay but havent found someone to do the work yet.

I live there, pay my fees, and also feel that my HOA fees are a worthwhile expense.

Before you start complaining about what the Ranch Club spends, make sure you understand COMPLETELY what that expense covers, and with how much the CRE actually has to play with every year. As was already mentioned, chasing after those that don't pay as well as other court costs, comes out of your HOA fees.
