Anyone know of anything fun for kids to do in Chevy Chase? I have a friend that is taking her kids up there next weekend and she is not familiar with the area. Neither am I.

Thanks for any help.

Wisconsin and Western

Right across the DC line, like across the street, is the DC Children's Museum, or at least used to be. We went there when we were little and it was awesome.

Also, there are activities to do in Rock Creek Park, depending on the weather. Where in Chevy Chase are they going?

I went to Elementary, Junior and High School in Montgomery County. Lots to do, but you you will have to take the Metro in to DC. From there it's full of variety.

Enjoy

Is this the same place you are talking about?

I hope that they have more animals and less empty cages. I also hope that they've changed their "no strollers in buildings" rule. :ohwell:

Not sure about the no stroller rule. I do remember seeing that on the doors entrances.

The zoo itself seemed full enough and kept us entertained. But I'm a cheap date so it didn't take much.

Ok, it used to be really neat, but then I haven't lived in that area for a long time.
