I like 'em fixed every way. I eat em raw, steamed, grilled, sauteed, fried, in stew, stuffing, pie, Rockefeller, Oregano, smoked,..Why do people insist on trying to change the flavor of one of nature's greatest tastes? I don't even like lemon juice or cocktail sauce on oysters and I surely don't want them steamed or grilled or whatever. Shuck and suck. I want the salty liquor of a fresh shucked oyster.
