This Thursday evening, Chief Malik Aziz will join County Executive Angela Alsobrooks for a community conversation focused on the efforts to address crime in the county. This event will take place in Suitland and will also feature Prince George’s County Police Division Commanders, Hope in Action partners and community leaders.
In addition to offering an overview of current crime trends and the countywide efforts to keep Prince Georgians safe, community members will have an opportunity to ask questions of both the County Executive and the Police Chief.
“We are hoping for a full house on Thursday and for residents across the county to watch us live online. This will be a unique opportunity to hear directly from residents about their concerns and to share with them what their police department and county leadership are doing to combat crime,” said Chief Malik Aziz.
Registration is required for the event and we are nearing capacity. For those who are interested in attending, please register at https://bity.ly/CrimeSummitPGC
Once the event is at capacity for in-person attendance, residents can also watch a live stream of the event at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4yULbQ2_f0
