Child Support Problem.

:yay: Because the government is putting poor parents in jail claiming it is to collect money for supporting children and then the gov keeps the child support cash for itself.

So for the poorest of the poor children do not get their child support because the State takes the loot.

Therefore the child support system is fundamentally a fraud. :jameo:
Where is the state supposed to get the money they use to pay TANF?

:yay: If child support is for the children and the separated parents are paying the child support for their children then the State has no business stealing the loot.

The gov has a budget for TANF and it is not to be funded by child support collections. :jameo:

The government isn't putting them in jail, they are.

The only reason the State would take the CS is because of the custodial being on welfare, right?

:yay: They have no right to use child support for TANF.

The TANF comes from the Welfare budget.

And that comes from the tax dollars. :jameo:

:yay: That is just a bunch of nonsense. The gov builds and runs the jails, the gov is the Courts, and a gov employee locks the jail house doors. The gov puts parents into jails.

If you want to believe that other nonsense then go right ahead.

:yay: That is not really the reason that the gov does not give the child support to the poorest custodials or to the poorest children.

The State collects and keeps the child support because the poorest of the poor custodials and the poorest children already have all of their needs met in full and overflowing because of the welfare so the State takes and keeps the child support for itself.

The State does not give extra cash to the poorest of custodials and not to the poorest of the children either but the State still calls it child support and it is a fraud.

:yay: TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) is not ever being used as child support.

The TANF is only if the family qualifies for the TANF.

Welfare and child support are two entirely different things.

Even if one could claim that TANF was used for child support (which it is not) then there is still no justifiable reason not to give the poorest families the child support when it is collected, except that their needs are completely filled and the child support is just extra cash that is not really needed (which is true) and the child support system is a fraud - which it is.

Can you get TANF if you do not have a child?

If the child support is paid directly to the custodial can they get TANF?

Would the poorest of families be the poorest of families if the custodial was getting the child support?

How can the state get their hands on the loot if the non-custodial is paying like they should?

Why do tax dollars have to pay to support the child via TANF and Food Stamps and section 8 when there is a non-custodial who is obligated by the bounds of morality to contribute for his child?

In your link, it outlines TANF and Child Support. If you have 1 child you get $365 plus If the state collects $250 in support payments $50 of the Child Support passes through, Plus a $100 gap bonus of the child support.

The custodial gets $365+50+100=$515 and the state keeps $250-50-100= $100. The TANF person gets $515 ($365+150 of the child support) The state keeps ($250-$150 = $100) to partially pay back the $365 they already paid out. That is 3to 1 dollars paid out for every dollar it gets.

:yay: Yes, there can even be a one person family.

And there are poor families that get TANF and get their child support too but the State steals the child support loot for itself.

So some of those poorest of families are getting the child support and the State is taking the loot for itself.

So families receiving c/s can still get TANF but the State will confiscate the child support. :patriot:

In the link provided the maximum TANF a person with 1 child can draw without getting child support is $365. How many of their "needs are met in overflowing" because of welfare on $365?

How much do you get in disability every month? I bet it is more than $365. So since a custodial and a child get $365 a month and you proclaim their "needs are met and overflowing" based on that your needs would be met on much less.

If the child support is paid directly to the custodial like it is ordered to how can the state steal it?
