Don't know what kind are there but just heard from Tri-County Animal Shelter that they have a couple different litters of puppies and quickly running out of space. Two trucks are heading there now from Humane Society and no place to put them. We all know what this means. Please consider one of them.

I got a choc lab needing a home, they thought she was pregnant but it doesn't look that way now. The other lab with her had 8 pups, black. Anyone know Tri-county # off hand. Do these pups need fostering?

ok thanks ill look into that, my brother was looking for a male chocolate lab to train to retreive ducks or geese or something for hunting. also as a family dog since we put our dobermin down in july. thank you.

Let me rephrase this, the lab I have is not needing a home now that I have her.

Yes, pups need fostering. Just rescued 4 adults and took 3 puppies. The pups are 6-7 weeks old and probably husky mix. Lucky Ones will pay to have them spayed/neutered at 8 weeks old. They just received their first puppy shot and were wormed. If you could possibly help with these it will open up a slot to rescue another dog. One dog we rescued is a purebreed Elkhound, 8 months old and trained at AppleJacks K-9 training off Rt. 6. She was just being brought in by her owner and was terrified by the sight and smell of death all around her. She would have been put down immediately. We just couldn't leave her there.
