Well seeing that my old thread got deleted i figured id make another...

Ok im looking for recomendations for intermidiate bikes for under 4K.
Im a Suzuki fan so anything from them is cool by me.

Looking for more of a sportbike and not a big ol' roadster or a cruiser...

Im about 6' 1" and 160lbs if that helps size things up.

Under 4k new? You're limited to the Japanese 250 standards (ie Honda Rebel), a few of the dual sports and the Ninja 250R.

I can't say what would be a good bike for you, but there are several on the SOMD classifieds that sound like they would work. Go look at 'em. :yay:

Mid 70's Airhead..

R80 or R100.. lots of fun to ride and even more fun to take pride in getting and keeping it running..

or for 4K you might be able to get a used seat off of a fatspringertail and put it in your living room and make bike sounds..

potato.. potato.. potato..

I second everything Dustin said above. You can get an SV650 just a few years old for $4k or less, with low miles. I know, i did it (for someone else). :yay: And I really enjoyed riding that bike. It was a blast!

You might want to consider on of the dual sport type of bikes that have the taller seats. My Suzuki DL100 V Strom has a stock seat height of about 32".
It's also available in a 650cc and BMW has some versions of their 650 with tall seats.

The F650GS, and the F650 Dakar (REALLY tall bike), if you look close you find them used pretty frequently

You mean you haven't got something yet? What are you waiting for? :lmao:
:yeahthat:
.. or wait a little longer for the cold weather, that ALWAYS drive the price of used bikes down. Make a low ball offer in Dec. Folks will want to get them out of the house and get some Christmas spending money.
