Are there any of you looking for a male Chow Chow for breeding? I have a three year old male, weighing about 65 pounds, his height is 23 inches at the whithers, cinnamon in color with a full "lion like" mane, and a sweeter disposition would be hard to find. If it matters, he is a virgin.

Not looking for fees, just a chance of getting one of his pups.

Here is a pic of him.

That is really great, and you know, he may have the market cornered, there are not too many males looking for a b#tch. :jet:

Let's review a few things here...

Appy sells tail.

Ken takes his dog to Appy to get groomed.

Next thing ya know...

Ken... is pimping his dog on the internet. :lmao:

Appy is great and she is keeping an eye out for possible candidates. She even located a Chow for me last year. Just one problem, it was the mother of my dog. While some might opine that this would be geographically acceptable (you guys know the jokes about southern Maryland) I didn't want to take a chance of bringing into the world a Chow with a head at both ends. Keep looking Appy don’t give up, you just didn’t know, that’s all.

Besides I am not pimping him, I don't want money for him getting some. I want another Chow as much like him as I can get and figure his offspring would be a good way to do it.

Oh yeah, have you seen any Chows over there in Calvert. I just asked Taz if he wanted to go get some and he acted like he got all excited, I bet he would be willing to travel because he just brought me his leash. Or is it that he has no clue and just wants to go for our usual Saturday walk down to the beach to play near the water?

Well he just came back and is yanking on my pants leg and pawing at me, I guess I have got to go to the beach. I'll be back in a hour or two.

:tantrum DAM it Ken!!!:tantrum

Not only do I love chows you stole mine!!! Even his name!!
He'll be 10 on Nov 1 and is still a virgin also.

My Taz is identical to yours, including his disposition. He doesn't like water though. Doesn't even like to get his feet wet-of course that could be because when they get wet we dry them off so he doesn't track up the house. He even stands by his water bowl after drinking till we dry his chin (unless we aren't home of course-and then I would bet he doesn't drink any!). He loves to be groomed, but I am the only one he lets brush him.

He's our 3rd chow. Love the breed.

Taz is my first experience with the breed and I am in love with them. When he was five days old he was placed in my hands and when he yawned all I could think of was the Tazmanian Devil from the cartoons and I said "Taz". I was then told that since I named him I would now own him. So I agreed to allow the wife to get him, I think there was a clandestine plan going on between my wife and the girl whose dog had the pups.

Taz doesn't really like the water either but he likes running in the sand.

FYI, a rescue isn't going to give you a dog to breed to. Checked on Petfinder to see just how many homeless Chows there were and CRIPES! 2836 Chows and Chow mixes available. Hard to believe you can't find a female with all those dogs around.
