PsyOps: Let me get this straight, I don’t know the minds of voters but...
When you said that 64 million people voted for Obama because he is black, you pretended to know the minds of all 64 million of them. Don't try to get out of it now. That's what YOU said.
Let me first say that I cried when BO was elected. I realize the historical significance of it. I realize their struggle and this defines their pursuit to becoming “equal”.
I have news for you; all races are already equal as humans. The lack of equality is what is shown by racists when they refer to the color of a persons skin as some sort of qualifier. "They" aren't pursuing equality, "They" are trying to get everyone to see that they are already equal and have been since the dawn of time.
The white man has been a brutal and hurtful people in the lives of African Americans.
Man, I hate racism from every angle. Whites aren't the only racists. Every race on the planet has them. Ignorance isn't confined to whites.
I don’t criticize people for voting this way except for one reason: most people are unable to clearly define who BO is and what his policies are.
Again, you profess to know what "most" people are thinking? Give me a break! You have no idea. You watch a few interviews on TV and think you see what everyone is thinking. I'm not picking on you, but you seem to be comfortable generalizing how "most people" think. I'm saying that you have no idea how all 64 million people who voted for Obama think.
They are voting for superficial reasons. It feels good to put the first black man in the whitehouse, but soon that party will be over and we will have to learn who this guy really is. RACE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT!
I find that entire statement contradictory and amusing. The statement itself contradicts it's own premise.
Check out
this montage put together by Rush if Charlie Rose and Tom Brokaw struggling to define who Obama is. These are supposed learned minds in our media that are supposed to bring the information to us about who these candidates are and they are unable to.
Three people. Three out of 64 million. That leaves you a long way to go.
So I would appreciate you not lecturing me on where I stand on race. Learn the difference between opinion based on certain facts and opinion based on bias.
You aren't stating facts. You're propagating bullcrap. You STILL insist that you somehow know why 64,000,000 people did something. Stop spouting confused racial justifications and I'll stop talking to you in the manner that I do with all people who try to justify racism, even in the slightest.
The reason there are no polls is because the pollsters didn’t want to ask the question.
Now that's funny!
It’s in the statistics. Over 90% of the African American community voted for BO. They turned out in record numbers.
Perfectly correct with the exception of your attempting to join racist bull with the stats.
In other words,
No, IN YOUR WORDS! YOUR INTERPRETATION! YOUR JUSTIFICATION!
if there had not been a black president on the ticket these stats would be starkly different.
Bullcrap! The people of the USA are so sick of how this country has been run that they finally, FINALLY came out in record numbers to express that disgust! Don't try to blame it on racism. People didn't decide to vote blindly for Obama because and only because he's part black. They voted the way they did to show that they like the idea of CHANGE.
The youth vote turned out in record number and overwhelmingly voted for BO. Again a stat that would have been quite different had there not been a black man on the ticket.
More bullcrap. The youngsters are more informed than any in the last 50 years. You go out and talk to about a hundred of them as I have. You'll find that they know much more than you think they do. Your statement shows ignorance of the truth. Again, you SUPPOSE that you know what all the youth are thinking. YOU DON'T.
This isn’t racist and it’s pathetically simplistic to assert such a thing.
No, what's pathetic is that you won't admit that I'm correct. You've based your thinking on what you SUPPOSE people of large numbers are thinking, without having been told by them, heard them say so, or any other qualifying factor that would support your accusations. Plainly, it's bull.
YOU are being simplistic in your thinking and trying to accuse me of doing so.
I live within 5 miles of a College. I've talked randomly to over a hundred kids who attend that college. What they've said to me defies what you are trying to pass off as truth.
I have quite a few friends who are not white. I talk openly to them about this issue and they know a lot more than you give them credit for. The specific reasons for their vote are vast. Sure, even they admit that there are as many non-white people who voted for the color of Obama's skin as there were whites who voted against him for the same reason. As I have said, there are racists in every race. One is no better than any other.
You need to really examine your own thoughts. It's difficult in the extreme. Being free of racism is hard. The small parts of it are ingrained into so many people that as a norm, they don't even understand when they're being racist in something.
Race should not be a consideration in any way, in anything.
Until that is a truth, racism will be a problem that shows mankind's weakness.
