We got our annual Christmas Card with a $10 gift certificate to Safeway I don't shop there so I sold it to a co-worker for $5 cash!! Found out we have a new contract for the next 4 yrs. We get 1.2% per year..... but our health contribution cost will increase 1% each year. I think it's time to give myself a raise and quit the union. That be $200 per year in my pocket! I can't believe they agreed to this crap.

Just found out I'm getting a 3.3% COLA increase this coming year. I've been retired for 11 years now and am making more for doing nothing than I did when I came down here 23 years ago. 33 years in gubermint is paying off.

I would have NO problem bringing it down there so BG can ride. I could show her how to ride it (it's like a bike to me now), but you or someone else would have to do the training with her. I'm still learning. She'd love the little bike and it is for sale. The new bike hubby bought me is not working out for me so it is going to be for sale, also. It's a 650 custom v-star. Great bike, but the front end is a little heavy for me.

Last year I got a nice bonus. Nothing (so far) this year. However, the bookkeeper was having a problem loading the new version of Quick Books. So, I guess there is still hope. I feel like I deserve one this year since I've worked harder than ever. I don't have any benefits at all so getting a bonus helps me get through those frustating days.

We used to get Christmas bonuses, then this year they decided to move it until the first of the year. They forgot to tell anyone and folks were irritated. It was normally only 10-20% of a normal paycheck. Everyone gets the same percentage, but you only qualify if you've been there the entire year. No clue what it will be this year.
