Anyone else make their own?

I did mine yesterday, a little late but still within bounds. An easy shot, little bit of editing and... badda-bing. So much more fun and personal than buying a box and dishing them out.

Have been doing this for years, and let me tell you once you start there is no going back. You always look for that perfect shot, and then folks are always expecting your cards for everything. It makes you feel good! This is a shot of a restored cabin in an historic loop at Cade's Cove in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

My 2nd cousin is an artist out in Cali. Every year he sends my dad a new card w/ his paintings of course. I love seeing what comes each year!!

I did too! I had mine printed up as postcards though, on a pretty linen textured paper. I loved the way they turned out.

Well next year you won't have an excuse for not doing it. You are just as capable to get a good capture as anyone, and it would be a nice personal touch.

I find Printmaster good for projects like greeting cards, business cards, posters etc, but use something else for photo processing. I have an older version of Photoshop that I sometimes use for special purposes. Corel Paint Shop Pro is what I use mostly.

That is disturbing, isn't it? And today I received an e-card from a friend featuring one of the other fonts I considered (Pristina).
