Maybe it’s just us, but did you receive as many cards as in years long ago?? Did you send out as many?? I guess the internet and cost of stamps may be a factor.

Psh. It costs 44-cents to let someone know you're thinking about them once a year. People are just lame now and don't observe the niceties our parents did.

I sent out Christmas postcards this year. Normally I send cards but I decided a postcard with palm trees and beach was appropriate.

Mom used to sit down and fill out Christmas Cards for days

..... mom is till around, but I think most of the old folks that did that have died off

the younger generation did Email / E-Cards ... the youngest just sends text messages

For the first time in years, I actually sent out a few. Mostly to people that don't Facebook. I have only received one so far.

I may get one or two and I don't send them anymore. I remember enjoying sitting down and doing an entire box or more of cards, for all my aunts, uncles, grandparents and some friends. They're all gone now. I wouldn't even do that today with 44 cents postage. I can spend that on something else for Christmas.
