Christmas Deserts

Sneakers

Just sneakin' around....
Looking for something for snackie/sweet for Christmas and New Year, came across this recipe. Looks interesting, going to try it tomorrow, but doctor it just a bit. Instead of chocolate bits in the mix, I'm going to use caramel bits and crisped rice. The vid is kinda repetitive and boring, I skipped ahead a lot.

Anyone else?

It's a very small affair this year for just me, my son and my husband...plus a neighbor who's wife had to fly home last minute for her ailing father, he'll join us for dinner. Stepsons will be gone all day with other family but I convinced them to come by for dessert and presents. I just decided on a lemon pistachio cake with mascarpone frosting.

I have a counter full of cookies, fudge, and other treats that were gifts. I'd pawn them off at the Christmas dinner gathering but everyone there is full up as well. My neighbor across the street is making a tres leches cake and that's all the dessert I need.
