I really like Partagas, Punch and MonteCristos.

Sounds like you're into the true cigars with the "true" taste.

Never had the Hemingways, I like the robustos and the Heningways are a bit too long. The Fuente that I've always had was the one wrapped in cedar, the name excapes me at the moment.

The Diamond Crowns are supposed to made by A. Feunte, but they are a step up in quality. A really good, smooth smoke. But a $10 a stick a little pricey.

Right now I'm hung up on Acids. I love the Kong Cameroons. They are a flavored smoke, but not like the vanillas or the other things out there. These are favored with oils and natural things giving it a good taste and best of all, I don't hear a lot of crap from everyone near me telling me how bad they stink.

Where are you buying your smokes from?

I buy from theTinder box at the waldorf mall, the owner there has a lot of connections and can get hard to come buy cigars, They sell Acids, I was always curious about them maybe I will give them a try. This weekend I am going to check out the Cigar Co of Annapolis located by the harbor.

I like the Tinder Box for giving a new stick or two a try. Buy buying by the box is expensive through him. I don't think it's really too much his fault though, given the tobacco tax and all. I like going there and sitting in his shop and trying a new stick while the wife shops.

I have found better buys on the net if you are going to buy a box; getting them for about 15% cheaper. If you're interested the site is www.bythebox.com

One other that I really like are Lars Tetens-Evolving... Good smoke. Like the acids, a bit more expensive, but a little better taste. Tinder Box has these sometimes. I would recommend trying just one of the Acid or Tetens. Don't go hog wild and buy three or more. They definetly have a unique taste to them.

Cool, thanks for the link, I will try those cigars as well.

I like to buy a nice smoke every once in a while, one thing I like about the tinder box is they have their own brand called a Dog walker. They are dirt cheap ($50/box) however they are the same cigar as the Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur. The owner says he visited the factory in Honduras and it is the same tobacco and same rollers. They are a lite smoke, but good for the occasional smoke here and there when you dont feel like breaking out the good stuff.

These are exceptional cigars, Chateau's. They come in two sizes, the chateau is 5x50 and the double chateau is 7x50. They are available in a natural and maduro wrapper from most good cigar shops. They're wrapped in cedar from the band to the foot with a green ribbon wrapped around the foot of the cigar.

You can purchase them from the Tinder Box, however they were out last time I was there (two months ago when I was looking for a cigar to smoke in the Ruby's).

However, you can buy these from JR Cigars website for typically 59-69 dollars a box (of 20).

The Opus X is a good cigar, but IMO..... they are over priced.

Paul Gamirian (PG) cigars are very good, the fellas at the tinder box always say the double corona is the best cigar in the humidor...

No posts in a while in this thread. Other than fantasy football I guess this would be my other interest. Try a CAO Cx2 or Mx2, both very good.
