Classroom pointer needed

So, I will be teaching a class, and the front of the class has 2 seventy inch LCDs. Laser pointers do not work on them, and so need a pointer sort of thing. Thought staples would have them, but couldn't find them. Any ideas on where to find one? Prefer the wooden kind, but extending metal would work

Use a sword. It will also improve class attentiveness.

Harware store - 1/4 wooden dowel rod - cut to length - add a brightly colored pencil eraser (cap type).
