Angels Watch in Hughesville is not accepting donations of clothing right now due to limited storage space. They do however have an arrangement with Children's Aid in Waldorf and the Catholic Charities in Prince Frederick that allows the women and children there to get cothes from them for free. Plus, a portion of the sales at the Catholic Charities one in PF gives a portion of their sales to Angels Watch so you are helping them by donating there. Hope that helps.

Not sure where you are, but Three Oaks in Lexington Park houses the homeless and they are also involved with domestic violence. You could also try Walden Sierra located off St. Andrews Church Road or the Anchor House (?) in Charlotte Hall. I also know that the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Lexington Park accepts clothing donations.

Be about it
Lexington Park United Methodist (across from Arby's) has a "Clothes Closet" and helps the community w/the donations.

I had about 7 trash bags full of very nice womens stuff that I wanted to get rid of before I had my baby (to make room for her stuff). I put an ad in the Free Items section of the classifieds here on somd.com . Anywho a single mom contacted me and I "donated" them to her. I felt great, and I know it helped her out a lot. Just an idea.
