I'm watching CNBC on MSNBC and all the news they're giving is just grim. This is very concerning.

Disney wouldn't have so many problems if they had any decent channels. ABC sucks, Cavemen is the most retarded show since Wonderfalls, and ESPN sucks supreme.

Just because YOU think the economy is in great shape doesn't mean it is.

I don't know what's going on over in your little island of Fantasyworld:crazy:, but back here in the real world, we are heading into (if we are not already in) a recession. It seems that just about everyone agrees with that.

Stock market is down, AGAIN. There are morgtage problems, AGAIN. Another wave of forclosures is imminent. Oil prices are still flirting with the $100/barrell, almost double what it was a year ago and what was an impossibility some year and a half ago.

Wake up and join us in the real world before you talk out of your :moon: and insult other people because you don't have the facts straight.

I'm glad things are going great for you.

But, for the rest of us, it's not as positive. And, I still fear what the economy's going to look like when Social Security (which I put over a thousand dollars a year into) is gone and this nation is in debt up to our eyeballs. I'm glad you're not concerned about this and about the future problems that many of us will inevitably have to deal with.

This is very concerning.

And, no. I meant "concerning."

I said concerning, right?

Well, that is what I meant. :smack:

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

Let's try the synonyms of "concerning":

This is very about.

This is very apropos of.

This is very pertaining to.

This is very regarding.

This is very relating to.

This is very respecting.

Nope, Andy, none of those make any more sense than your original "concerning." Don't be a JPC and stick by what you said as "true and correct." Admit your mistake and learn from it.

Like the IHRA boys vs. the NHRA men...........:lmao:
I don't see the NHRA men rushing to race on a real track (Maryland International) either. :lmao:

Instead, they stick to weak tracks that are companion tracks to the big NASCAR superspeedways so they can get ESPN to cover their sport (even though ESPN hasn't got the slightest clue about the concept of drag racing). I've watched the NHRA before.

I just think IHRA's better. The field's are larger, local drivers are able to compete, and the races are better.

NHRA is just the NASCAR of drag racing.
