I can't wait to see what Gutfeld has to say about this. I'm sure he's bummed to lose his favorite target. :lmao:
CNN has cancelled Brian Stelter's Sunday show after new boss Chris Licht vowed to clean up the network, according to Yashar Ali.

Chief media correspondent and Reliable Sources Host is the first casualty of the network after Licht took over in early 2022.

Stelter confirmed in a statement to NPR that he would be stepping down from the show, which he has hosted for the past nine years and celebrated its 30th anniversary in March

I will be the first to admit that I didn't believe Chris Licht would do much to change the culture at CNN, but here he is letting Toobin and Stelter go within days of each other.

I think Shelter tried to save his ass by finally admitting that the laptop is legit. Too little, too late.

WOW. I never thought in a million years, I'd hear Ted Koppel EVER say anything outside the leftie collective.
(Honestly, I wasn't sure he was still alive).

I mean, you don't have to LIKE Donald Trump to know, what he is saying is 100% true - MSNBC and CNN are screwed without Trump to talk about - he's no longer President - and they STILL find some angle to talk about him.

What's sad is - there was a time when CNN WAS THE definitive news source - during the Gulf War, it was on 24/7. They - covered - everything.
Now MSNBC has always been a leftie lovefest, but damn if they have painted themselves into a corner because their subject matter is - how much do we all hate the Orange Man?

Brian Stelter's Final Delusional Rant Shows Why He Got the Boot

“We’re barely five minutes into the final Reliable Sources and the arrogance and hatred for conservatives that “the truth is not neutral” with Stelter and Carl Bernstein is flowing. They’ve already shown why it’s being canceled.”

“Second segment for Brian Stelter’s final show — the risk to the lives of journalists and how dangerous it is to be one in America because of the far-right. Ah, yes. Being a journalist in America is JUST like reporting in China, Myanmar, North Korea, and Russia!” Houck said.

Criticizing and mocking bad CNN hosts isn’t threatening or putting their lives at risk.

But Stelter would like to present the illusion that he’s some kind of mystical knight fight for “democracy” against the evil Donald Trump. That’s not just false, it’s delusional–and it surely isn’t journalism.

“CNN’s Brian Stelter decries outside criticism of journalism as a “poisonous cloud” that’s spread throughout the country and around the world. He adds he’s “proud” to have worked at a network when they knew they had to fight and attack Trump,” Houck explained.

:roflmao: The absence of ANY self-awareness. :roflmao:
I guess I keyed in on "platforms to those lying in our faces".

I don't watch his show nor have I ever - I have no idea if it's on every night or what time. But is it his contention that "the truth is not neutral"?
Because that is exactly what it is. Facts, the truth doesn't care what your politics are, or what you believe. It just simply IS.

Ted Koppel is an interesting person. He used to come into the post office where he had a summer home. He was always happy to chat with us, and boy, did he have stories. And he listened to our stories, too. Nice man.

We asked him the place he liked the best in the world. Bosnia/Herzegovina. He said it was beautiful before war destroyed it.

I was dissappointed with Gutfeld! No segment on Stelter getting canned either Thursday or Friday night. A couple jokes on Friday night but that's it. Now he's out for a week with guest hosts filling in.

I'll bet you right here and now they will either be back within a year, or they will be replaced with someone equally mindless Left.

This whole thing is just for show - "see us changing?" It's a bait and switch to get viewers back so they can attempt another fake news brainwashing.

Those show hosts don't operate independently, and they don't get to say whatever they want on their shows. They have orders from the top what they'll talk about and how they'll present it. All they are are teleprompter readers and earpiece listeners. They are literally firing Stelter because he did as he was directed.
