At first, they blamed a tourist, then they implied it was someone near the Situation Room, and NOW they're trying to claim it was a construction worker who dropped the bag of cocaine. Because you know, lots and lots of construction workers are walking around the White House with bags of cocaine on their person.

I was thinking that would have preferred the whole thing to be on the down low, involving the DC FD publicly where the radio msgs were open to anyone let the cat out of the bag. I am not seeing how involving the FD could be part of the diversion.

It's pretty embarassing no matter WHO is culpable. If it ISN'T Hunter - if it's a construction worker or tourist - it means someone was able to bring drugs into the White House and put them somewhere. It means it COULD have been dangerous, and their security sucks.

But you can HARDLY BLAME the public and the press for not suspecting a person known to repeatedly have a problem with drugs and SPECIFICALLY, cocaine - and he just happens to be crashing at the White House, lately.

Seems to me, if I were Biden, and we were all leaving for the weekend to a place where they'd be SURE TO FIND MY STASH - I'd hide it somewhere that no one would be looking for it, until I got back.
