My Cocker has been experiencing very oily skin problems. The vet had him taking a couple of different meds and we changed his diet -- but he keeps getting oily patches that are making his hair fall out. I first thought they were dry skin patches because he kept scratching at them but when you feel them they are very oily.

Anyone have any suggestions for clearing up his skin?

go to a dermatologist.... and also has the RDVM done basic blood work on the dog? and looked at any auto immune issues?

many factors can play into the skin issues
