Just heard helicopter not needed patient is Code 89, what is Code 89?

What county?
Im guessing you heard this on the police side too.

It was on Calvert Co, never heard a request for helicopter dispathed.

I believe they were using an in-house code used for no injuries typically never heard of by the public.

I would assume that Code 89 means the patient is deceased. It sounds like a PG County thing. When a helo is dispatched for an MVA, and then put in Service usually means..Dead.
