I think you have to stay away from ones with asprin and alcahol It seems like there were only a few meds out there that were recomended. Just best to call the doc and ask.

Just waiting for the ped office to open back up. They close for lunch from 1-2 pm. But- if its like what cgirl said- then sudafed should suffice...

If you need to know now, you could probably call your doctor's office, they should be able to asnwer you.

She is still so new. I'd be afraid of anything that would upset her in any way. Unless you are really sick, running a fever, etc. I'd try to tough it out. Use salt water for your nose to clear up your sinuses..hot tea (no honey), steam (shower or something like that). Be careful of what is in the cough drops too.

btw, if you didn't already know, health connections at st. mary's hospital has a breastfeeding moms group wednesday's from 10-12. i recommend that you stop by if you're in the area.

Okay, Let me play Devil's advocate here, but isn't that a bit discriminatory? :confused: Bottle feeding mom's need friends too. :shrug: Especially when all you breast feeding mom's gang up on them. :bawl: :jet:

Couldn't you express a 3 or 4 gallons, use that while you medicate, then when the cold is over go back?
