Collie mix in need of foster home

Petey has been chained out his whole life. We estimate his age to be 6 - 8 years. He has a wonderful, unusually sweet temperment. Kim says that he has gotten very depressed in the shelter. He's been there a month with no takers. He will be euthanized if not rescued by this weekend because the shelter expects a lot of surrenders because of the holiday. Can anyone step up to foster Petey? We will pay for any vetting he needs...If so, please e-mail kimgeiger@happypawshappyhomes.org asap, as he is scheduled to be euthanized this week. Tammy

Do you by chance have a picture of Petey? I'm hoping that I may be able to find someone but know they'll want at least to see a picture.

Damn people, I have a neighbor that has a dog they don't deserve. I get so stinkin irritated at these cases.

Huntington County if you look on the right hand side you will see Petey's picture.

Time is of the essence with this guy, they are trying their hardest to do something, but if you are an individual you may have to work with a local rescue to help you, they will want the name of the group and a vet reference. I corresponded with the email contact earlier and she is the one that gave me the above information.

It would be great to save this guy, EIGHT years on a chain only to die after spending your last month in the shelter sucks...

Wonderful news yes!!!
Petey was at a shelter in central PA but was adopted. Seems the rescue got a lot of emails from individuals in our area and wanted us to have the update.
Thanks for eveyone's interest.
