Wonder if they'll plant tobacco for the youngsters.......

My son did that last year andI was very dissapointed withthe program. The guides were VERY impatient and short tempered with all the children and the costumed employees were really very rude and would yell at them.
It's notjust me who felt this way....I talked with other mothers who said it was a ripoff for the rude treatment the children recieved. One guide even cursed at the children and a mother was in earshot to hear. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Take a trip to Williamsburg!

I went with my child's 4th grade class last year for a field trip. Our guide was rude and very obnoxious. The last straw was when she told us that we didn't have time for bathrooms or a drink in 95 degree weather. Left a really bad taste in my mouth. Won't see me or my child back there, too many other places in this area for a hands on history lesson.

I remember going there with my daughter's 4 th grade class trip. Our guide was a mean SOB who carried a large tobacco stick around and would point it at the kids. The trip wasn't worth it and I've never went back. We had the same problem with trying to use the bathroom. The guide pounded on the bathroom door with his stick yelling come now or be left behind. It's NOT a child friendly place.
