COMCAST / "Any Cable" for interior of Cliffton?

Does anyone have any information concerning when COMCAST or any other provider plans on installing service in the "interior" Cliffton area?

We are new to the area. we were told "this summer COMCAST will begin service to the area". We have not seen any signs of cable installation etc.

Appreciate any info.

Talk to the Charles County Cable advisiory they should answer that question...Franchise requirements apply for Cliffton. I would call there office directly cause they are terrible about returning emails. Actually sometimes I wonder how they got there seat on the board. There all ridiculous! They still can't answer my questions

I heard the same thing when I was down there from 1987-92, but we never got it. There are a bunch of new houses down there now, hopefully your time has come! I do like my Dish Network a lot better than Comcast though...

I think most people want Comcast for there HSI. For most it's the only hope. DSL is not a option for Cliffton either.

Franchise rules is 20 houses per square mile before comcast will install cable. The problem with Cliffton is there such a dense area getting there. Another cable loophole
