Does anyone know if Comcast publishes anything on there construction schedules for placing cable? There website is horrendous on information and I wanted to see if they post information on areas they will be expanding to.

Verizon does this for copper and that wonderful thing called FiOS.......God one day, one day may we all have FiOS. But they post there schedules online and was wondering if Comcast does the same?

To be honest all depends on how many house you can pass.......Those are big factors. If you live in Fort Washington it won't be long before your able to get FIOS. This is assuming you live in a very populated area in FW

I found myself on the phone today again with Verizon, I have been adding my email address to that list on there website for update on when high speed internet will be avaiable in CHAPTICO, St Marys County for about 4 years now. The lady I spoke to said that they are not upgrading any more lines for DSL in the area, Now they have FISO and will be putting fiber optic through the whole county by the end of 2007. I laughed and said good luck You have been telling me i would have DSL for the last 4 years. :lalala:

Interesting enough the first location to get FIOS will be La Plata. Nothing else is slated in Southern Maryland for 2007.

It will only be data service inititially, Franchise rights would have to be given before FiOS TV can be offered. So if your in La Plata things are looking up! Outside of La Plata there is always next year. :bawl:

I would have sworn it would have been Waldorf first!
