Computer Clock Question

This maybe a dumbazz question but oh well. How come my computer clock is running 2 hours late? It was fine yesterday but this morning, it is now 7:30 and it says that it is 5:30am

Kernel panic: Aiee.......
It could be several reasons.

1. You changed the time 2hrs back without realizing or while sleep computing.

2. You have your time zone set wrong.

3. Your CMOS battery is dying.

4. If you have more than one OS installed, it's possible that you recently booted into the other OS's that hasn't been booted in quite awhile. ie., two or more OS's adjusted for the recent daylight savings.

5. If you use NNTP to keep your computer clock current, the time server you're connecting to is mis configured.

If it keeps loosing time it is probably the CMOS battery dying.

Or your on an NMCI computer. Noone can explain why they do some of the things they do.

If you leave the computer running all the time it could be low memory assets or IRQ sharing causing the problem.

You have to be able to say, "Did you reboot?" in 12 different languages.

Here's the scoop...

Just Ask Jeeves and then look for this link "Applications Cause Time Loss in Windows"

Oh, yeah. My PC was losing about 20 minutes a day. For kicks, I replaced the battery (with a new one, of the right type). Now it loses an hour a day. I think I read somewhere that this is a Microsoft cockroach, or a hardware quality issue.
