Ok Computer people, I am hoping you can help me out.
I have a Dell XPS desktop, all of a sudden both of my drives are showing errors (code 37) and won't run anything.
1) Sony DVD-Rom DDU1615
2) HL-DT-ST-DVD+RW GSA-H21N
I have tried to uninstall and have a new hardware pick them back up, it does pick them up but still with errors, I've also been on with Dell support most of the day, they even had me re-boot my computer (F12 mode) and run a system check which found my drivers and the ran the re-install disk, dell said after this to re-start my computer and everything should be fine.
Now I have re-started my computer and now I can't even open my device manger to see if they load correctly.
They suggested I do a system restore (but that kinda scares me, what wouldd I loose)
Any help, would be much appreciated..
Ok I was told to go ahead and restore I wouldn't loose any documents.
