I look at this in sort of the same way I look at football; I root for whoever's playing against my most unfavorite team; that equates to voting for ANYBODY other than Ms. Clinton. Fortunately Ms. Rice is a good candidate.

It'll be entertaining as hell, like the Thomas hearings, watching Democrats make the case that a black, super-qualified, female is NOT qualified simply because...she's a Republican. We'll see some thinly veiled racism, Uncle Tom accusations, all the stuff you guys do whenever a minority leaves the 'farm'.

PS, in case you didn't notice, your party supported tooth and nail the one guy NOBODY wanted when the primaries started because his record so suxs. He got everyone pulling together because, well, somehow or another, he became the candidate.

The GOP will have a much easier time of it because her resume is so damn good.

It won't be Democrats stopping her. It'll be your own party. She'd have a much better chance getting through the primaries as a Democrat.

I think you would be suprised how many conservatives are pro-choice or indifferent to the issue.

I am not being sexist. I just want to point out that many areas, especially the Middle Eastern Arab countries and Far Eastern countries, are sexist. Women are held in little or no regard. A camel is worth more and female children are aborted in China. If we elect a female President, the United States will loose stature in these areas.
