I agree it is easier to learn hands on. I hate to read more than most of you, but I really had to force myself to read my manual, a book on my camera and a few several other internet site and books to really get a grasp. Once you take your camera into priority modes, and manual everything changes. It starts with your stress level. (I bet X will back me up on that)

In my case, i enjoy reading and try to read as much as i can.
