ConOps?

Anyone ever written a ConOps document before? Do you know of a good website that would provide examples of ConOps and what should/shouldn't be included?

TIA

Good luck! I've written similar. It's more time consuming than anything.

Thanks, it's a PITA.

And when I'm done with this, I have a Deployment Plan waiting, along with a Change Management Plan. :cartwheel

Can you go directly to the "source" for the ConOps? They could provide more information if you're not familiar with it. I've only had to write them when they were job-specific. Is it DoD related?

It also depends on the org you are writing for. there should be other con ops within your department/division to use as an example and there may even be templates already in place. NIST and DOD have plenty of examples (templates) to use.

Thanks for the help!

We are using an SDLC template, but it's very complex. Just going through a strenuous review cycle. What fun!
