LEONARDTOWN, MD – Pre-Kindergarten, Head Start, and other parents of other young children, as well as community members, are invited to a FREE Conscious Discipline Parent workshop on Thursday, January 24, 2019, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Lexington Park Library.
Developed by Dr. Becky Bailey; “Conscious Discipline” is a proven comprehensive approach that empowers parents and caregivers with skills that create a safe, connected, problem solving environment for families.
This “Feeling Buddies” workshop focuses on Social Emotional Learning and specifically supports families and educators with the development of self-regulation skills in young children. The workshop will be presented by Master Trainer, Amy Speidel and funded through a grant with the St. Mary’s County Health Department.
