As I am too lazy to look it up. Could Trump serve 2 terms in office if elected in 2024, or does the law say 8 years, consecutive or not, is the limit.

The only exception to that would be if a Vice ascended to the Presidency just past the two year mark, they could effectively serve just a hair under 10 years.
