Convert to Islam...

Gadahn delivered a lecture on Islam and the "errors" in Christianity and Judaism.

"Instead of killing yourself for Bush ... why not surrender to the truth (of Islam), escape from the unbelieving army and join the winning side. Time is running out so make the right choice before it's too late," he said.

"You know that if you die as an unbeliever in battle against the Muslims you're going straight to Hell without passing 'Go,'"

"It is time for the unbelievers to discard these incoherent and illogical beliefs," he said. "Isn't it the time for the Christians, Jews, Buddhists and atheists to cast off the cloak of the spiritual darkness which enshrouds them and emerge into the light of Islam?"

Any chance of our leftists starting to be more concerned about these guys than Jerry Falwell and W praying at night?

I think it's fair to say that lunatics like Adam Yehiye Gadahn don't speak for all Muslims, just as his Christian counterparts like Eric Rudolph don't speak for all Christians. (I don't belong to either so I can't speak for those groups.) It's also fair to say that there are many more Muslim fanatics who practice violence than Christian fanatics. I attribute that not to Christianity but to to the Western concept of freedom of conscience.

From the bio at the end of the article, Gadahn sounds like he was drifting in life without any direction. I suspect that emptiness makes a person easy prey for recruitment by Al Qaeda-type zealots. Fanatics claim to have all the answers.

...the Western world screams long and loud that Falwell/Robertson/X person of public faith does NOT speak for everyone. Organized religion is all but extinct in Europe...except of one particular faith. You show me the constant, long and loud public condemnation of people killing in the name of Islam and I'll recognize it. Until then, all we have to go on is the people who ARE speaking in the name of their faith.

Gadahn did not attend college, choosing instead to move to the suburbs of Los Angeles where he became a Muslim and worshipped at the Islamic Society of Orange County. The mosque later expelled him for attacking one of its leaders.

"It is time for the unbelievers to discard these incoherent and illogical beliefs," he said. "Isn't it the time for the Christians, Jews, Buddhists and atheists to cast off the cloak of the spiritual darkness which enshrouds them and emerge into the light of Islam?"

"We invite all Americans and other unbelievers to Islam, wherever they are."

How interesting....he calls other religions "incoherent and illogical" - I wonder if he felt the same way about the basic laws of Islam when he decided to attach the leader of the mosque he was attending. I dunno, but it would seem to me that I wouldnt attach a church leader if I thought that his teachings were coherent and logical to my standards...lol

So, I am left wondering if he is desiring people to convert and worship his version of Islam or the actual version of Islam....humm..

Excellent point. My theory? It's not "constant, long and loud" because the fanatics in the Middle East kill their critics, or regularly threaten to do so. Salman Rushdie is still in hiding after 20 years. That goes back to my point that Arab culture never learned to welcome opposing points of view.

A million prison inmates can't be wrong :yay:

Richard Pryor observed this while filming "Stir Crazy": the Hispanic inmates joined gangs, the white inmates joined the KKK and the Nazis, and the black inmates joined the Mau-Maus and Nation of Islam. All extremist groups. "They're all inmates in they're together, and they can't unite."

I must agree with Tonio this young man fell prey to the twisted evil misconception of religion. And as a convert you don't know any better if you are being taught the right stuff or the doctored lunny bin stuff. And this concept of convert to islam and the unbeliever that is jews and christians are going straight to hell is abit thier twisted interpretation. Common sense people. I borrowed the quran from the library and read the translation and what do you know the first chapter says, respect you fellow believers that is jews and christians. and also mentions that unbelievers(people that don't beleive in a GOD) will go to hell. So does any other religion that i have studied) so my question to these cave dwelling jihad promoting ASS%^&$## if the quran gives such respect to the jews and christians how dare they play god and pass judgement on a people that the quran believes in? Answer that Zawahiri, Usama, and any other F%$#@* up brainless person that supports the hide in the cave because I am a coward and recruit people, enrage their minds with false statements and fight my war. What a concept. I really don't understand with all the state of the art technology we have we can't find the damn cave they live in. Cut the head of the snake and the rest of the body will eventually die.

The Christians also went through the fanatic phase with the crusades. Power just makes some people crazy.

You know....

Mormons are not comfortable talking about their origins because...well it ain't pretty.

Moslems can't stop talking about their origins because...its been sanitized for them. All the early critics were snuffed out. One of the bloodiest schisms among the islamofascists is Shiite Vs Sunni and...? a mystical version of it.
Where did it originate? In their screwed up history.

Their towel headed morons have only the smallest version of their fanatical religion and they run with it (normally with a bomb in their pocket.)

hey Gadahn...good luck with that conversion tape...but when you dress like a freak and blast western living...um, you are a loser. period. :lmao:
