anyone know how/where I could have a vhs tape converted to a dvd? I'd like to have the tape from my most recent sonogram made into a dvd but I don't know how or where to take it.

Take a look at the "Computers, Technology and the Internet" forum at the "Converting Videotape to... " thread.

This is awesome information and awesome to have! My grandma has a videotape of my great-grandpa robbing a liquor store back in the 1960's and she LOVES that tape with all her might. That videotape shows my great-grandpa robbing a liquor store at age 85! He is much too old and that clerk nearly beats the life out of him over and over. My grandma HATED my great-grandpa and she watches that tape all the time. Sometimes she watches it to laugh herself to sleep. It is starting to get grainy and fuzzy at the edges and you can barely see my great-grandpa on the floor from all the fuzz. Sometimes my grandma tries to peek up over the fuzz to see him. That makes my dad laugh and go to sleep.
