Many years ago, hundreds of farms and small communities lived on the island off Norway's coast. Subsistence living mostly..fishing, limited farming, rabbit hunting*, and raising sheep. Many of those islands are now uninhabited. I've had the fun opportunity to explore many of them over the years, checking out the abandoned buildings and scenic landscape. Hard to say what that old stone building was...probably a house or barn.

* those rabbits! First time I saw one I thought it was a fairly large very furry dog. Huge...
